Our goal was to push the limits of the durability of the fiber surface to create a cleaner, more resistant finish. The Result While the process successfully increased the fabric&';s structural integrity, it altered the final "hand feel" of the wool. You will notice a slightly more rugged, textured feel than our traditional superfine jersey. It lacks our signature "buttery" softness, feeling more like a classic, heartier wool. Test Lab Disclaimer The Feel: "Heartier" and textured (not as soft as our standard 17.5-micron line). The Look: Subtle tracking lines may be visible on the garment. The Care: You may notice slight fabric puckering after the initial wash as the fibers relax. This stabilizes after 2-3 launderings. Because this technique is still in the experimental phase, we have not launched it as part of our permanent collection.
