Surly Grappler 27. 5" Bike Grappling With The Greatest If you're into MMA and want to fight against the gnarly trails, then this bike is for you. The Surly Grappler 27. 5" Bike is a drop-bar trail bike that is built for singletrack and all-day bikepacking trips. It has a 100% chromoly steel frame and a 100% chromoly steel fork. The frame uses Surly's versatile Gnot-Boost spacing, which allows riders to use both 142mm and Boost 148mm rear hubs. Custom dropouts let you run either single-speed or internally geared hub setups. The frame also features wide tire clearance for up to 27. 5 x 2. 8" or 29 x 2. 1" tires with or without fenders, and the frame has a rack, fender, and several three-pack mounts at the top and bottom of the down tube. The Surly Grappler comes with a Micro SHIFT 10-speed drivetrain. This includes an ultra-wide 11-48T gear range that makes climbing and touring with all your gear much easier. Tektro Mira MD-C400 mechanical disc brakes offer reliable stopping power on both pavement and dirt. WTB ST i40 TCS rims are paired with Teravail Ehline tires. The rims can be set up tubeless with the right tires. This means you'll be able to ditch the tubes for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the Tranz X Dropper Post, you'll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle with the press of a lever.
