Specialized Gambit Helmet Expertly engineered for advanced protection When creating the Gambit, engineers at Specialized set out to create a full-face helmet that offers ASTM downhill-rated protection, with the ventilation and fit of a half-shell helmet. The Specialized Gambit Helmet is designed using a comprehensive design strategy, with a lightweight carbon fiber shell, a structurally specific polycarbonate backing, and five pieces of targeted density foam. The result is a lightweight, highly protective helmet that offers incredible ventilation without compromising protection. The SBC Integrated Fit System reduces the amount of necessary padding, while Computational Fluid Dynamic design introduces internal channeling for increased airflow throughout the helmet. What does all this engineering jargon mean in the real world, you ask? It means the Specialized Gambit sits at the top of the mountain when it comes to highly-ventilated, DH-rated full-face helmets, letting you take on the biggest descents.
