Specialized Boomslang Platform Pedals Pedals that stick to your shoes The pedal market has become incredibly competitive with hundreds of companies producing high quality pedals. In the world of flat pedals, pedals have become longer, wider, and more concave. The Specialized Boomslang pedals have all these features and several others that help them stand out from the pack. What makes the Boomslangs unique are their custom undercut pins that taper down from the top which provides unrivaled grip and a pedal body that carries 4 hidden pins in case a rock sheers off a pin during a ride. Replace the pin trail-side or replace it when you get home. No need to waste time rummaging through cabinets trying to find extra pins. Many pedals don't even come with replacement pins. If you are looking for pedals that are large, grippy, and literally stick to your shoes, the Boomslang Pedals are perfect for you. REVIEWSMountain Bike Rider (MBR) - "To keep shoes fixed, the 'undercut' pedal studs really hook into soles, and the resulting grip level is pretty amazing. The pins thread in from the back for easy replacement too, with four spares cleverly stored in the platform.
