The Stumpjumper 15 is designed to eliminate trade-offs in trail riding, delivering big bike bump absorption with short-travel control, playfulness, and efficiency. The frameset features a lightweight FACT 11m carbon chassis with 145mm of rear wheel travel and integrates Specialized's patent-pending GENIE shock technology.GENIE shock technology combines the control-enhancing linear spring rate of a coil spring through the bump zone with the progressive spring rate of an air spring at the end of the stroke to prevent bottom-outs. This hybrid approach delivers the best characteristics of both coil and air springs with extra tunability.
