MRP RACE AXLESThru-axles are one of the newest standards in the mountain biking world. They increase the stiffness of the frame, provide better steering and handling, and provide better braking. The MRP Race Axles are a lightweight replacement bolt-on rear axle for thru-axles frames. They are sleek and increase rear end clearance. At only 35 to 46 grams, they weigh anywhere from 20% to 50% less than the common quick-release style thru-axles.
