It features premium Primaloft Gold insulation, which provides similar warmth for the weight as 750 fill-power down while tolerating sweat and precipitation much better than down. Black Diamond has also upped this parka's durability with a ripstop face fabric and a new, relaxed fit that allows for easier layering underneath.
