The new BioLite SolarHome 1550 brings a larger panel and twice the battery size of the SolarHome 625 to the off-grid home or business, with brighter lights and improved runtime compared to the entry-level home system. The system&';s three hanging lights provide overhead multi-room lighting, each with its own control switch - and one with an included motion-activated security setting. The control box houses an integrated 4th light as well as a built-in FM radio, MP3 player, and two USB ports. This system can handle smartphone charging, whether day or night.
