The PS-31 Binocular Night Vision Device (BNVD) is a cutting-edge, lightweight dual tube goggle designed to replace the legacy PS-15. These tubes feature auto-gain capability, adjusting image brightness based on real-time conditions. The PS-31 BNVD boasts independently pivoting tube housings, allowing the user to switch between binocular and monocular configurations. Using both tubes simultaneously enhances depth perception, making it easier to navigate terrain and operate devices such as control panels and door knobs. The monocular setup facilitates smooth transitions between varying lighting conditions, essential on the battlefield.
