It's designed to flourish in every condition you're likely to find on your adventures, with a solid freeride shape, medium/stiff flex, and bomber construction. There's plenty of pow float built in to this lightweight board, with a rockered nose and a bit of taper along its length. Camber in between your feet help grip on hardpack and skin tracks, and all the little split-specific tech bits add up to a perfect splitboard. You can only ride one at a time, so you may as well get one as versatile as the Backwoods! Flex Rating 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) Rooted Inserts The odds of pulling out inserts on a snowboard are about zero, but just to make sure Weston have reinforced all of the inserts areas with precision-cut sheets of flax. This improved durability and naturally dampens chatter. Additionally, flax is a sustainable crop and is good for the environment. Tip to Tail Carbon Carbon fiber run through the entire core from tip to tail to provide added pop and response. Boltless Base Rugged Topsheet Polymide is eco friendly and made from castor beans.
