When it comes to building functional strength, we like the PTP Aquacore. It uses the flow of water to develop our strength through unstable load training--not stable weight. The sloshing water engages both our power muscles and stabilizers as our body struggles to balance the Aquacore as the water moves with our body movements. The Aquacore comes with horizontal and vertical handles for a versatile range of exercises. It's easy to set up--press the valve in to add water to the desired weight level and press the valve out to attach a pump to fill with air and cap it off for a tight seal. For the best results, fill it to no more than 1/3 capacity to maximize the unstable loading to develop the entire body as different muscle groups continuously adjust to balance the Aquacore and maintain our balance as the water weight continuously shifts.
