OneUp Components EDC Threadless Carrier Description: If you want to install a OneUp Components EDC V2 Tool on your bike but don't want to tap threads inside of the aluminum fork steerer tubes, then the OneUp Components EDC Threadless Carrier will fit inside of the steerer tube and create a secure mount for the tool. The EDC Threadless Carrier is crafted out of aluminum alloy to keep the weight down while also keeping the durability high, and as an added bonus OneUp has anodized these carriers in several attractive colors to make it easier to personalize the look of a bike. Once it has been confirmed this carrier will fit the fork, installation is as simple as removing any existing star nut(s) with the included star nut remover bolt and washer, slip the carrier inside the fork, and then securing everything with one of the included bolts and the lower cap. Once the carrier is secured, then install the EDC Tool through the opening in the top of the carrier, and then get ready to go for a ride. Notes: This product is designed to hold the EDC V2 Tool with the small EDC storage capsule installed; it is not compatible with the EDC V2 Tool and a threaded CO2 cartridge or the EDC V2 Tool with the large EDC storage capsule installed.
