ENVE M8 29" CL Wheel Tuned for the descent The new ENVE M8 is a downhill wheel like no other, calling upon ENVE's years of experience with gravity-capable carbon rims (including the first production carbon DH wheelset), and raising the bar yet again. The M8 is more impact resistant than previous generations, and boasts 73% and 76% more compliance than the previous M730 and M980 wheels, respectively. Like the other M-series wheelsets, the M8 features unique front and rear rim designs-the M8 uses a wider, more compliant front rim to better contour over rough terrain and increase traction, and a narrower, firmer, and tougher rear rim is designed to hold up to the biggest hits where they happen most. Both rims use ENVE's Wide Hookless Bead design, optimized for gravity riding with anti-pinch flat protection and increased durability. At the heart of the wheels is the ENVE INNERDRIVE J-Bend hub system, boasting increased freehub engagement with drive ratchet upgrade options, and ENVE's Perfect Preload system for a longer wear life.
