DMR collaborated with the pros to design the Brendog Flangeless DeathGrip. This grip works with all types of riding, from trail to downhill, and it combines a waffle and knurl pattern for grip. Plus, a mushroom section for comfort. The tapered core allows for the use of only an outer lockring, but it still holds just as secure as any dual clamp design.
