The V-Bob is a smaller, Commander-sized version of Dan Wesson's V-Bob 1911, and offers high-performance and flawless aesthetics. In terms of appearances, the V-Bob features a traditional cut that retains the lines of a vintage 1911, as well as a rear cocking serrations reminiscent of those found on early GI-style 1911s. The V-Bob also comes equipped with G10 grips, which not only look good, but also offer generous texturing for superior control over the weapon. The V-Bob's elegant appearance is directly mirrored by its steadfast function and an array of user friendly features. The thumb safety is ambidextrous for comfortable shooting in either hand, and an updated slide stop is included to accommodate the installation of laser grips. The V-Bob's sights are composed of a serrated U-notch rear sight, and a front sight with a tritium lamp for accuracy in low-light situations. In addition, an inverted top rib running between the front and rear sight has also been milled directly into the slide, this was included to help eliminate glare.
