A super-compact, lightweight and easy-handling pulley with fixed side plates. The SphinxPro uses the same design as the Sphinx, but features sealed ball bearings for higherefficiency. The Sphinx Pro is designed for intensive use at higher speeds, but is smalland light enough to easily carry on your harness or throw in your pack for ski touring andmountaineering. Unlike other pulleys with fixed side plates, the Sphinx Pro allows a prusikknot to be installed on one side (aramid cord suggested) making it an ideal pulley forrigging a haul system on route or managing crevasse rescues.
