The 3T Primo Apex XPLR AXS 12-Speed Bike is a highly versatile gravel race bike that is perfect for all-around riding. The key to the Primo's speed is the aero downtube that is wide enough to catch the airflow coming off the big front tire. But at 50mm wide, a full airfoil with a normal ratio would have to be 150-200mm deep, causing too much surface drag. So 3T squared off the tail, keeping most of the aero performance with a 50x75mm cross section that is also close to perfect for strength and stiffness; 3T's Sqaero shape. The wide downtube also helps shield the water bottles. The carbon fiber frame and fork feature internal cable routing, wide tire clearance for up to 700 x 46mm or 650b x 51mm depending on the tire, bottle cage mounts, and a top tube accessory mount. The Apex XPLR AXS version of the 3T Primo comes with a SRAM Apex XPLR AXS 12-speed wireless electronic drivetrain. With an 11-44T cassette on the rear and a 40/42T chainring up front, you'll have no issues climbing or pedaling through some of the more difficult-to-navigate trails. SRAM Apex AXS hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend under control. Fulcrum Rapid Red 900 wheels are paired with Pirelli Cinturato Gravel M tires that can be set up tubeless so you can ditch the tubes and drop the tire pressure for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats.
